Job Description

This role shall lead the strategic operations to drive operational excellence and innovation projects in the Home Care. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to produce deep-dive analyses, execute complex projects, and help devise the overarching strategy for Home Care Operations in Singapore.

1. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Management

  • Formulate Long-Term Strategy: Support the HOD to develop strategies aligned with organizational direction and national/sectoral priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain robust relationships with regional stakeholders, government agencies (e.g., AIC, MOH), and community partners.
  • External Representation: Represent the Business Unit (BU) in meetings, working groups, and collaboration platforms.
  • Project-Based Resourcing: Proactively identify and secure diverse funding streams and sponsorships for the implementation of new services, innovative programs, and equipment initiatives designed to directly benefit the senior community or improve operational efficiencies.

2. Operational Excellence & Performance

  • Drive operational excellence: Collaborate with diverse teams to identify and address operational challenges, with a focus on building, launching, and scaling efficient processes. Lead efforts to instil operational best practices, driving efficiencies and elevating service delivery standards.
  • Project Ownership: Take end-to-end charge of projects from inception to execution, including strategic planning and performance reporting.
  • KPI Management: Translate organizational goals into HC operational plans and KPIs; perform timely reporting and analysis of key business drivers

3. Innovation & Transformation

  • Process Redesign: Initiate innovation projects and drive quality improvement projects to uplift BU capabilities and redesign processes.
  • Service Integration: Drive continuous improvement and integration across service lines
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify areas of improvements and experiment with new approaches to enhance work processes and service delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Degree in Business Management or equivalent; a degree in Gerontology is preferred.

Experience: 58 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and hitting goals. Minimum 3 years of working experience in the community care sector.

  • Highly data-driven and analytical, proficient in building spreadsheets, data visualizations, and financial models.
  • Display excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build overarching strategies while diving deep into specific technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, influence without authority
  • Innovative self-starter with a bias for action and a service mindset dedicated to the senior community.

Technical Skills: Be proficient with Google Workspace Suite. Proficiency in LEAN, Six Sigma, AGILE, or Design Thinking methodologies is an added advantage.
