Job Description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving growth across brokerage, bancassurance and financial adviser (FA)segments through developing effective relationship management, business partner engagement and sales enablement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the Sales Target and other business deliverables for the assigned distributors in line with company objectives.
  • Manage, nurture and build strong relationships with distributors while identifying and pursuing new and profitable partnerships.
  • Develop existing distributors to broaden TLB's distribution.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on day-to-day enquiries on products, illustrations and sales techniques.
  • Keep up to date with major developments related to products offered and significant changes in the insurance market
  • Provide market and distributor feedback to support product development and enhancement initiatives
  • Monitor pipeline health, distributor's performance, market trend and regulatory updates to identify growth opportunities and risks and ensure that all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Deliver high standards of product and sales training program to distributors.
  • Handle special projects and other assignments as delegated

Requirements

  • Possess at least a degree qualification.
  • Minimum8 years of multiple channel business development relevant experience within the life insurance industry with exposure to HNW client segments.
  • Have advanced level of product knowledge of the high-net-worth insurance products such as Universal Life, Index Universal Life, others, with demonstrated experience in product training with sound sales techniques. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Variable Universal Life (VUL) will be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong capability to build, manage, and sustain long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization,
  • Skilled in influencing and managing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
  • Proactive, result oriented, with can-do attitude and capacity to think out of the box
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have good organization skills and be meticulous paying attention to details.
