Our client is seeking a dynamic leasing leader to oversee a diversified portfolio of retail and commercial office assets. This role focuses on maximising asset performance through strategic retail leasing, curating high-quality tenancy mixes, and enhancing customer and tenant experience across the portfolio.

This position goes beyond traditional leasing, it is about creating vibrant retail environments that complement commercial office occupiers, driving footfall, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail leasing strategies across mixed-use assets to drive foot traffic, engagement, and income growth
  • Curate and optimise tenancy mix to align retail offerings with office occupier demand and asset positioning
  • Identify and secure key anchor tenants and high-value retail concepts to strengthen asset appeal
  • Structure and negotiate complex lease agreements to maximise rental performance and long-term value
  • Build and maintain a strong network of retail brands, F&B operators, and brokerage relationships
  • Utilise market data and analytics to inform leasing decisions, track performance, and identify opportunities
  • Enhance asset performance through repositioning initiatives and proactive vacancy management
  • Collaborate with asset management and marketing teams on placemaking and customer engagement strategies
  • Implement tenant engagement initiatives to drive retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships
  • Lead, mentor, and develop leasing team members to achieve portfolio targets

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of leasing experience with a strong focus on retail within mixed-use or commercial portfolios
  • Proven track record in securing retail tenants and executing successful leasing strategies
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams (approx. 3-5 years leadership exposure)
  • Strong understanding of tenancy mix, consumer trends, and retail positioning within office-led environments
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Well-connected within the retail and F&B tenant market
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to deal execution
