You will play a critical role in shaping how regional category strategies are developed, aligned with global direction, and deployed across projects in the region, while supporting early engagement activities during project acquisition.
This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Regional Procurement and Global Category Management, ensuring that regional sourcing decisions deliver competitiveness, supply reliability and operational excellence. You will guide the Regional Strategic Sourcing team to develop supplier strategies and regional Master Framework Agreements (MFAs) across the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and Site In-directs categories, while overseeing Regional SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) to support consistent commercial outcomes and predictable execution across all projects in the region.

Build a Future‑Ready Regional Sourcing Framework
- Develop and execute regional Category Strategies for Mechanical, Electrical & Process (MEP), Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) and Site Indirects, aligned to Global Category Strategies and local markets.
- Lead development of Regional Master Framework Agreements (MFAs) to accelerate procurement, standardize terms and strengthen commercial leverage across the region.
- Develop and maintain preferred regional supplier and subcontractor pools by ensuring supplier qualification, capacity understanding, and capability assessments reflect project needs, installation complexity, and schedule requirements.
- Support global and regional direct‑procurement of equipment by developing and managing regional installation subcontracting relationships and framework agreements, ensuring qualified installers, consistent commercial structures, and predictable delivery outcomes.
- Drive regional commercial value through strategic agreements, Total Cost of Ownership improvements, clean sheet and benchmarking analysis, structured negotiations, and a deep understanding of regional market conditions and constraints.
Drive Supplier Performance & Delivery Excellence
- Lead regional Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including governance cadence, supplier performance review and action‑tracking, and ESG performance monitoring in line with Exyte requirements.
- Resolve strategic supplier issues relating to delivery, performance, capability, or commercial disputes in partnership with Regional PSM.
- Partner with suppliers and installers to enhance quality, improve compliance (including HSE and sustainability standards), reduce risk, and strengthen regional execution capability.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement, including new installation methods, logistical efficiencies, sustainability‑focused and resource‑efficient solutions, and cost‑effective regional approaches that deliver reduced cost, improved mobilization, stronger schedule performance, and higher quality outcomes.
Regional Governance & Strategic Delivery
- Own and maintain regional Category Strategies as governed, live documents, ensuring updates reflect market trends, supplier changes, execution performance and risk exposure.
- Engage with Global Category Management to refine global strategies based on regional insights, pricing intelligence, supplier constraints, and competitive dynamics.
- Provide consolidated regional category reporting including commercial outcomes, risk updates, supplier performance, pipeline visibility, and market trends.
- Monitor regional regulations, local commercial practices, capacity shifts, and geopolitical considerations to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risk.
- Ensure all regional sourcing activities align with Exyte's Procurement Policy, Category Management Procedure and Supplier Performance Management Procedure.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Develop and lead high‑performing regional sourcing teams by setting clear direction, building capability, and strengthening succession and talent depth across the region.
- Act as a key link between Engineering, Project Management, Commercial, Construction Management, Regional PSM and Global Category Management to ensure cohesive sourcing and execution planning.
- Support Regional PSM in proposals by providing market and pricing insights, contracting strategies, preferred supplier lists, and risk assessments.
- Guide CSA & Site In-directs and MEP Regional Strategic Sourcing teams in supplier analysis, commercial strategy, and risk mitigation across the region.
- Elevate decision‑making through analytics, structured reporting, market intelligence, and project pipeline visibility.
- Foster alignment between regional teams and Global Category Management to ensure consistent sourcing direction and efficient strategy deployment
Show Your Expertise
- 12+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience within EPC, semiconductor, life sciences, data centers, industrial, or complex project-driven environments.
- Strong experience leading sourcing or category teams across construction, MEP, CSA, Site Indirects or installation services.
- Practical understanding of construction methods, installation sequencing, site risks and project‑execution challenges, gained through direct site experience or close support of construction teams.
- Proven capability in developing regional or global sourcing strategies, negotiating MFAs and achieving measurable commercial outcomes.
- Solid understanding of construction and installation supplier markets, commercial models, labor dynamics and risk drivers within the region.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Engineering, Construction and Project teams to balance technical, commercial and execution requirements.
- Strong analytical skills including cost modelling, benchmarking, supplier evaluation, and market intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management or Business; Procurement Certifications are an advantage.
- Fluent English; regional languages are an advantage depending on location.
