Who we are looking for

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Senior Manager, Property & Casualty and Specialty Lines(P&C) to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, driving renewal retention, identifying growth opportunities and building long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience across Property & Casualty insurance and selected specialty lines such as Cargo, Financial Lines, or Trade Credit. You possess excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand clients risk management needs and develop tailored insurance solutions that deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development initiatives by proactively identifying, pursuing and securing new opportunities, working closely with insurers to develop competitive and tailored insurance solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across Property & Casualty insurance lines as well as selected specialty lines such as Cargo, Financial Lines and Trade Credit.
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant placement, policy administration and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and claims matters, coordinating effectively with insurers and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their evolving business operations and risk exposures.
  • Collaborate closely with insurer partners to negotiate competitive coverage terms and achieve optimal placement outcomes for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through cross-selling and upselling of relevant insurance solutions.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, policy administration and compliance with regulatory, company, and operational requirements.

What makes you stand out

  • Ideally 8 years of experience in Property & Casualty and/or Specialty Lines within the insurance, reinsurance, or broking industry.
  • Degree holder with relevant insurance qualifications, including BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications.
  • Proven success in client management, business development, and portfolio growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy structures
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to balance relationship management, business development and operational excellence.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior people management and team leadership experience would be a strong bonus.

This role is open to candidates who are authorised to work in Singapore and do not require work pass sponsorship.
