Role Overview

Pricing is one of our most critical commercial levers. We are building the intelligence infrastructure that ensures we are always positioned competitively — and we are looking for a Senior Manager to lead and scale the layer that connects data to high-stakes commercial decisions for the Hotel domain.

In this role, you will move beyond owning operational workflows to setting the strategic direction for pricing intelligence, driving cross-functional alignment at the executive level, and building scalable frameworks that directly maximize revenue across our verticals.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define & Scale the Vision: Set the multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for the pricing intelligence function across all verticals, determining which competitive insights are built, how they are delivered, and how they drive measurable commercial action.
  • Executive Engagement: Serve as the strategic lead and primary advisor to senior commercial executives (Directors, VPs, and General Managers), steering conversations on pricing strategy, margin optimization, and competitive positioning.
  • Commercial Transformation: Transform how competitive pricing insights drive action across the business — shifting from transactional data reporting to embedding automated, high-impact recommendations with clear governance, ownership, and response SLAs.

Revenue Impact & Value Creation

  • Drive Business Outcomes: Establish and own the closed-loop tracking framework that measures whether pricing intelligence leads to business decisions and quantifies the direct bottom-line/top-line revenue impact of those interventions.
  • Function & Growth Ownership: Track, report, and continuously optimize core function KPIs, including market price positioning, win/conversion rates, and attributed revenue/margin lift.

AI Infrastructure & Governance

  • AI & Operational Excellence: Lead the build-out of the AI-ready data and monitoring foundation that powers automated commercial intelligence — ensuring the data feeding AI agents, models, and alerting layers is healthy, real-time, and trustworthy. Establish the governance around it: evaluation and accuracy benchmarks for AI-generated insights, guardrails and human-in-the-loop review for automated decisions, and clear lineage so every AI output is traceable to a verified source. Proactively surface intelligence and coverage gaps — and silent model or data drift — before they impact commercial execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Data Engineering, Product, AI/ML Platform, and Commercial Operations to influence upstream data pipelines, tool design, and AI/automation capabilities.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years in pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, or strategy within travel-tech, OTA, e-commerce, or hospitality
  • Proven Executive Presence: Extensive track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across matrixed commercial and category management teams.
  • Strategic Product/Tool Ownership: Strong history of designing and scaling analytical tools or intelligence products, with deep insight into behavioral economics and why data tools often fail to change commercial behavior.
  • Outcome Accountability: Demonstrated success owning direct financial outcome metrics (e.g., net revenue lift, margin enhancement) tied directly to pricing and intelligence interventions.
  • Domain Advantage: Experience in the hotels, tours, activities, and experiences (or multi-sided marketplace) ecosystem is a strong plus.
  • Advanced Analytics & SQL Mastery: Exceptionally comfortable working directly with large, complex datasets (SQL proficient) without relying on engineers for data extraction or ad-hoc modeling.
  • BI & Analytics Tools: Hands-on mastery of BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or equivalent) to design self-serve intelligence for non-technical business leaders.
  • Commercial-First Mindset: Unwavering focus on ROI, commercial levers, and margin impact, evaluating technical/data methodology through a strict business lens.
  • Strategic Prioritization & Governance: High-level structured decision-maker capable of prioritizing high-leverage strategic initiatives against urgent daily execution needs while setting clear operating standards for the function.
