Senior Manager (Ops Lead - Electrical)

Job Description:

a. Technical proficiency

. Provide technical advices to project managers and engineers

. Provide technical write-ups

. Resolving related electrical / mechanical matters

. Provide training and mentoring of electrical / mechanical Engineers

. Collection and investigation of necessary information for future projects/ tenders, development of relationship with potential clients and consultants for future projects

. Interpretation of specifications, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant documents

. Advise in preparation of presentation slides for tender interviews

. Advise Value Engineering for tenders and projects

. Advise Technical Specification compliance

b. Operation Leads

. Interpretation of specifications, terms and conditions, compliances, drawings and any other relevant documents

. Involve in project write up such as understanding scope of work, manpower histogram, programs, Gantt Chart on scope of works using Microsoft Project software and Organization chart

. Monitor of project cashflow and P&L.

. Attend meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors with project managers to sort out operations issues.

. Provide advices or solutions to site issues, manpower deployment etc.

. Assist the site team on obtaining Variation Orders (VOs), Value Engineering, Recruitment

. Settlement of claims from client, subcontractors, suppliers and any other parties related to the projects

. Provide solution to projects management, site issues, technical issues, manpower deployment

. Mentorship to juniors and motivate project teams where necessary

. Proficiency in contractual knowledge

Job Requirements:

. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore/ BCA/ IES

. Minimum 10 years experience in Mechanical & Electrical services in M&E Consultancy firm

. Preferably Professional Engineer (Electrical) LEW(Grade 9)

. Competent in Design of electrical power & control systems & familiar with government regulations on electrical installations

. Excellent communication and coordination skills

. Be dynamic, self-motivated, confident individual, confident in interacting with senior team members, clients and consultants
