About EDB New Ventures
EDB New Ventures is the venture building arm of EDB. Our aim is to support the creation and scaling of high potential new ventures from Singapore to become globally leading businesses. To do so, we are spearheading novel ways of partnering with companies on their corporate venturing journeys and with established global founders as they build their next ventures from Singapore. This includes embarking on joint venture building sprints alongside partner corporates / global founders, supporting corporate-startup partnership initiatives, co-investment with corporates to risk-share early-stage growth of their ventures and active portfolio value creation support to scale each venture.

[What you will be working on]

Job Responsibilities

This is an individual contributor role, and you will be part of a dynamic team to develop strategies and create solutions to engage and support growth-stage ventures.

In your role, you will:

  • Build and manage relationships with top-tier global investors and general partners to establish curated deal flow pipelines for high-quality investment opportunities
  • Identify and assess high-potential growth-stage ventures in priority geographies and industry domains through targeted market research and company mapping
  • Design tailored engagement products based on the needs of growth-stage ventures (e.g. government lead demand pilots, landing pad programmes, and bespoke incentive packages)
  • Lead and organise international marketing initiatives (e.g. thought leadership roundtables, closed door briefings, ecosystem engagement events) to position Singapore as the preferred destination for growth-stage ventures
  • Support anchored growth-stage ventures to deepen their Singapore operations and scale into future industry leaders, maximising their long-term economic contribution

[What we are looking for]

Requirements

  • At least 4-8 years of relevant working experience in strategy development, account management, investor relations, business development, community building
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships and translate strategies into executable outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills to design, implement and evaluate scalable capital pathways
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage senior leaders and diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Singaporean

Good to have:

  • Experience in product or platform development, ecosystem building, or structuring collaborative initiatives
  • Familiarity with venture capital dynamics, capital mobilisation, blended finance or Singapore's enterprise ecosystem
