What The Role Is
You will be part of a team developing step-down and specialised services in psychiatry and mental health care including addictions services, long-term care services and services for the intellectually disabled.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What You Will Be Working On
Be part of a team :
- developing and implementing a strategy to increase and enhance specialized addictions rehabilitation services
- developing and implementing a strategy to enhance and increase capacity and access to psychiatry and behavioral services for the intellectually disabled and those with neurodevelopmental disorders
- developing and implementing a strategy for psychiatric long term care services
What We Are Looking For
Work Experience, Competencies and Personal Traits
- A good bachelor degree or
- A professional degree
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in public policy development
- Interest in health and social care sectors
- Some experience in service planning and development or national level planning of supply/demand
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Need to be able to work independently as well as in a team, and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
