Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Manager/Manager to join Projects our team. This role represents RWS in managing and delivering the RWS 2.0 Expansion and associated A&A projects, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. It oversees the full project lifecycle from planning and design through approvals and construction, providing technical leadership, design oversight, and site management. The position ensures projects are delivered to required quality standards, within budget and schedule, and in full compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as RWS's representative to manage and coordinate the RWS 2.0 Expansion Project, with primary responsibility for mechanical and electrical systems across all phases - planning, design, permitting, and construction - to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate Additions and Alterations (A&A) projects for existing and new RWS facilities, focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop conceptual designs for upgrades and new projects based on business requirements.
- Review detailed designs prepared by Design-and-Build consultants to ensure compliance with standards and objectives.
- Provide leadership to the site project management team, including consultants, contractors, and resident staff, to achieve high-quality design and workmanship.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives and design guidelines.
- Manage the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process to select suitable consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent fields.
- Possess 5 -10 years of design experience in a consulting firm, preferably on large-scale projects involving power systems, ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), fire protection, or building services.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in interfacing works between new and existing building services, including integration with building automation systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
