Senior Manager/ Manager, Product Risk

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager/ Manager, Product Risk to join our Risk Management team at RHB Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent reviews of existing and new products proposed by RHB SG entities, including the Bank and Asset Management. You will design and execute product risk management processes in line with RHB SG/RHB Group strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in monitoring changes in the product environment, identifying gaps, and maintaining robust governance practices.

What you will be doing

• Provide Head of Risk Management with initiatives to create value through niche products.
• Manage the orderly running of Singapore Product Committee (SPC) meetings.
• Review and enhance policies related to SPC governance and secretariat functions.
• Ensure product suitability requirements and methodologies conform to regulations and RHB Group policies.
• Act as subject matter expert for product risks, including investment products.
• Conduct independent product performance benchmarking and methodology reviews.
• Monitor market conditions and escalate timely in case of disruptions affecting product performance.
• Coordinate with other risk management sections for synchronized product risk management at tactical and strategic levels.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across product teams, operations, and financial reporting units.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by Head of Risk Management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• CFA or other professional qualifications related to investment preferred.
• Strong understanding of product risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
