Job Summary
In early childhood education, the quality of our people defines the quality of our centres.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead our people strategy and strengthen the culture across a growing network of preschools. This is a key leadership role where you will partner closely with management and centre leaders to build strong teams, develop future leaders, and create an environment where staff feel engaged and supported.
This role is both strategic and hands-on - ideal for someone who understands that impactful HR work happens on the ground, not just on paper.

- Recruitment & onboarding - attracting and integrating quality educators and staff
- Employee engagement & culture - building a positive, values-driven workplace
- Talent management & succession planning - developing internal pipelines
- Leadership development - coaching Centre Leaders and emerging managers
- Performance management - strengthening accountability and growth
- Internal communications - ensuring clarity, alignment, and trust
What you bring
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence
- Clear and confident communication and presentation abilities
- Proven experience in talent development, engagement, and leadership coaching
- A hands-on, proactive approach in a dynamic environment
- Experience in a multi-site or service-based organisation (early education sector is a plus)
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field
- IHRP Certified will be a plus
- 8-10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a service-based or multi-site environment
- Strong experience in recruitment, employee engagement, and talent development
- Proven ability in coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Experience in the preschool or education sector is an advantage
