What The Role Is
You will be part of the team that work on the clinical services provision and bed capacity planning in hospital development projects, ensuring timely and coordinated delivery of acute care services to meet the projected demand in Singapore.
You will also be working on the hospital capacity monitoring and management to enable the hospitals to respond adequately during peacetime and surge demands. In addition, you will contribute to the planning and development of national clinical services to enable better care and better value for patients in our public hospitals.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What You Will Be Working On
- To review and monitor bed capacity and opening plans for hospital development projects.
- To assess and plan hospital clinical services, which includes reviewing the need for service provision and ensuring adequate clinical governance.
- To monitor and analyse hospital capacity utilisation trends, as well as implement capacity mitigation measures.
- To plan, review, develop and implement policies on sustainable national clinical services strategies.
What We Are Looking For
Work Experience, Competencies and Personal Traits
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare or related field with minimum three years working experience, preferably in healthcare-related roles.
- Prior experience in health care administration/management would be an advantage.
- Positive, self-motivated and high standard of integrity.
- Able to work effectively in teams and manage and engage different groups of stakeholders.
- Project management skills would be an advantage.
