Job Description

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the development of an industry and enterprise development strategy for Quantum technologies
  • Implement the industry and enterprise development strategy for Quantum technologies
  • Represent NQO in cross-agency and international forums to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key partners and ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Manage engagement efforts with government agencies, research institutions, and industry players.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders to identify viable partnership opportunities that will complement the implementation of the National Quantum Strategy
  • Drive or coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, including joint research, talent development, and technology translation efforts.
  • Support the discussion and development of collaboration agreements.
  • Monitor and prepare reports on global trends and developments in quantum technologies

Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Keen interest in cutting edge science & technology
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills for good relationship management.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilities
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision, independently and in a team
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing, adaptable, and flexible to take on required/necessary tasks beyond the job description
