What The Role Is
As part of MOH's Organisational Development Office (ODO), you will help drive a positive culture of purposeful, connected, and productive people, and enable the Ministry's systems, processes, and practices to perform effectively today and transform for tomorrow. The Office partners employees and leadership on organisational development, employee engagement, transformation, and culture-building efforts that support MOH's strategic objectives and Whole-of-Government priorities.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What You Will Be Working On
In this role, you will lead and deliver key organisational development (OD) initiatives that strengthen MOH's values, culture, employee engagement, and organisational health. You will translate employee feedback and organisational insights into meaningful action at both organisational and divisional levels, while building capability across teams to strengthen culture, cohesion, leadership connection and employee experience.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing organisational culture and engagement platforms: Craft culture stories, engagement content, and organisational-wide platforms such as Townhalls that inspire staff, foster organisational alignment, strengthen connectedness, and enable open dialogue across MOH.
- Translate organisational health insights into action: Manage employee listening and feedback channels, including surveys, dialogues and other platforms; analyse feedback; and work with leaders to develop, track and communicate practical action plans.
- Build culture: Design and deliver culture-building initiatives and facilitate conversations that enable divisions, leaders, and staff to sustain positive engagement practices and embed desired team behaviours.
- Support targeted OD interventions: Diagnose team needs, recommend practical OD interventions, support leadership alignment sessions, and partner stakeholders to follow through on OD priorities.
You will work closely with senior leadership, divisions, and key stakeholders to design and deliver agency-wide organisational culture and engagement activities aligned with MOH's vision and values.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about building healthy, engaged, and effective organisations. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant qualifications in Organisational Development, Communications, Psychology, or related disciplines would be advantageous. Professional certifications in OD facilitation would also be an advantage.
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in organisational development, communications and engagement, transformation, change management, stakeholder partnership and engagement, or a related field.
- Ability to analyse and derive actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
- Experience in culture-building, employee listening, engagement surveys, organisational diagnostics, facilitated workshops, or OD interventions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, stakeholders, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, partner, and influence effectively across leaders.
