Our client is embarking on an exciting phase of strategic growth. As part of its continued expansion agenda, there is now an opportunity for an experienced M&A professional to join the organisation as Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to drive inorganic growth initiatives and strategic investments.

Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in originating, evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions that support the company's long-term growth ambitions. You will lead end-to-end transaction execution, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and external advisors throughout the deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation through due diligence, negotiation and completion. You are expected to oversee financial analysis, valuation, investment case preparation and board materials to support key investment decisions. In addition, you will conduct market and industry research, assess acquisition opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. While post-merger integration is not a core responsibility, you will support integration planning where required to ensure successful execution and value realisation.

Requirements

Ideally, you hold a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline, with an MBA and/or CFA viewed favourably. You bring approximately 8 to 10 years of relevant experience gained within M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or private equity. You possess strong financial modelling, valuation and due diligence capabilities, coupled with proven experience managing complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders. You are analytical, commercially astute and able to communicate effectively with senior management and board-level stakeholders. Experience preparing investment papers and presentations for executive decision-making will be highly regarded. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong project management skills and possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
