Senior Manager Loan Agency Admin Operations

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Agency Operations is responsible for end‑to‑end leadership, control, and performance of the Agency Operations team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all syndicated loan agency activities. The role carries full accountability for business-as-usual (BAU) delivery, operational risk management, people leadership, and continuous improvement. This requires hands-on oversight, including acting as BAU checker, to ensure all deliverables are executed accurately, on time, and to the highest professional standards.

This role is expected to transition the team from a task‑based execution unit to a well‑controlled, standardized, and scalable operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the end-to-end execution of syndicated loan agency operations, including drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, interest and fee settlements, notices, and covenant monitoring.
• Perform BAU checker responsibilities to ensure transaction accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Oversee operational risk, controls, incident management, and audit/regulatory engagements.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Agency Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure smooth execution of facility agent responsibilities.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and operational enhancements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in syndicated loan agency administration within a banking environment with team management experience.
• Proven experience leading or supervising operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of the syndicated loan lifecycle, facility agent responsibilities, and loan documentation.
• Familiarity with loan operations systems (e.g. SWIFT).
• Strong leadership, risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for Analyst/Senior Analyst positions.
