- Lead Direct Customer Tender Management: Take full responsibility for preparing, submitting, and negotiating tender responses to key customers. Ensure all tenders are completed accurately and submitted on time, aligning with customer expectations and DPIS capabilities.
- Costing & Pricing Strategy: Develop and review project costing structures, ensuring all cost components are considered and that pricing is competitive yet profitable. Provide accurate cost forecasting and scenario analysis to support tender submissions.
- Client Proposal Development: Coordinate and manage the proposal process for major client tenders, working closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, HSE, etc.) to deliver compelling and tailored bids.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead the negotiation process with clients, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favorable and that projects can be executed profitably. Ensure contract compliance and manage contract changes or amendments.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and lead the execution of major projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Act as the main point of contact for all client inquiries related to the project.
- Profitability & Financial Oversight: Actively manage project budgets, monitor P&L, and implement strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify potential risks associated with the project, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with all relevant legal, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and operational staff. Foster collaboration and ensure that all teams are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Engineering, HSE, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Manage External Relationships: Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure that they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Enhance Project Delivery: Continuously assess project delivery methods and identify opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning: Provide input and support the development of long-term strategic goals for the Key Project Management function. Ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Mandatory)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Experience in Commercial and Tender Management in the EPC, O&G, or Industrial sectors (preferred).
- 8+ years of project management experience in the logistics, EPC, or O&G sectors, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and direct customer engagement.
- Experience in tender management and contract negotiations is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer satisfaction with financial performance.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
- Advanced commercial skills, including cost estimation, tendering, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
- Project management skills, including time management, resource planning, and risk management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
