Senior Manager IT Infra Manager (Manufacturing Domain)

• Lead and manage IT Infrastructure operations within a 24x7 manufacturing environment, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
• Oversee Operation Service Support activities across both local and global infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and site management, to support business and manufacturing objectives.
• Guide, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring proper training and capability building.
• Support budget planning and cost control for IT infrastructure, balancing performance and efficiency.
• Ensure all infrastructure systems (servers, networks, storage, backup) are maintained to meet operational and production requirements.
• Align local infrastructure priorities with global strategies and manufacturing needs.
• Plan and manage infrastructure deployment, lifecycle, maintenance, and system support in a manufacturing setup.
• Ensure smooth operations of IT systems supporting production, automation, and plant operations.
• Coordinate system design, implementation, testing, and rollout with a focus on minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
• Engage with business and plant stakeholders to prioritize IT initiatives based on operational needs and budget.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals including servers, operating systems, and networking.
• Hands-on experience in Linux (SuSE) and Windows environments.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of storage, backup, databases, and enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Experience in project management and vendor coordination.
• Exposure to IT systems supporting manufacturing operations (24x7 environment) will be highly preferred.
