Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic co-production opportunities that support Mediacorp&aposs content and audience goals.
Cultivate, expand, and manage relationships with international and regional broadcasters, production studios, streaming platforms, and content creators.
Understanding of production processes, from development to delivery, to facilitate smooth workflow and communication between internal production teams and external partners, ensuring all parties are aligned on creative vision, delivery timelines, and budgetary expectations.
Collaborate with internal producers, legal, finance, and marketing teams to support deal development, execution and delivery.
Negotiate co-production deal terms, including financial structure, rights allocation, scheduling, and deliverables.
Monitor and track co-production project progress to ensure key milestones, quality standards, and contractual obligations are met.
Stay informed on global media trends, emerging content formats, and market developments to provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Represent Mediacorp at industry markets, festivals, pitch forums, and conferences to pitch content and foster new partnerships.
Manage end-to-end project administration, including budgeting, reporting, and contractual compliance.
Qualifications
Degree in Media Studies, Film & Television Production, Business Administration or related fields
5 to 7 years of experience in television/film production, co-production, business affairs, content partnerships, or related roles.
Deep understanding of the production workflow from concept to post-production.
Strong commercial awareness and business development capabilities.
Excellent project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
Demonstrated passion for diverse content consumption, with a deep appreciation for various genres across platforms.
Familiarity with international content markets, funding models, and regulatory fraeworks is an asset.
Proficiency in a second language relevant to key markets would be advantageous
