We are hiring a Senior Manager, Insurer Relations to join a fast-growing, market-facing insurance platform. This is a commercial, relationship-driven role focused on building and managing strategic partnerships with General Insurance carriers in Singapore. You will act as the primary bridge between insurance carriers and internal commercial teams, driving growth through negotiation, influence, and market insight.
Job Description:
- Build, develop, and manage multiple insurer relationships across the Singapore GI market
- Act as the main point of contact for carriers, including underwriters, product heads, distribution leaders, and senior management
- Lead commercial negotiations on underwriting terms, pricing, capacity, and partnership structures
- Support growth initiatives through presentations, pitches, and strategic discussions
- Coordinate and manage several insurer workstreams in parallel with strong structure and discipline
- Provide internal advisory support with a consulting mindset, including market insights, benchmarking, and insurer feedback
Job Requirements:
- 510 years experience in General Insurance (non-life)
- Background in brokering, insurer partnerships, or market-facing GI roles
- Strong product knowledge in personal lines (e.g. motor, travel, personal accident)
- Demonstrated business development orientation (not operational, actuarial, or back-office)
- Well-connected within the Singapore General Insurance ecosystem
- Confident presenter with the ability to sell ideas, influence decisions, and engage senior stakeholders
- Organized, structured, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience blending relationship management with advisory / consulting-style thinking
