Job Summary
The role of Senior Manager, Human Capital, is responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies to support organization strategic objectives. Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements. Ensuring compliance with Manpowerlaws and regulations. Managing staff wellness and performance reviews.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organization strategies in line with organization objectives
- Consolidate manpower planning and budgeting in relation to the organizational requirement and sustainability
- Partner with HODs to review and recommend job descriptions and team structure
- Perform Business Partner roles including recruitment and selection processes, new hire functions such as preparation of employment letters and conduct of on-boarding and administrative tasks such as employment pass and visa applications as well as staff contract renewals
- Liaise with Government agencies such as MOM, MINDEF, SSG, SNEF pertaining to employee matters as needed
- Assist in the maintenance of all HC filing and records and ensure data integrity in the HC System
- Lead role and implement digitization initiatives to achieve established HC strategies
- Lead in performance management which includes staff performance review, staff discipline, staff promotion etc
- Lead in staff learning and capability development in the organization to ensure effectiveness that is aligned to the organizational objectives
- Lead role and implement enhanced new staff portal modules using power Apps / AI
- Plan and implement staff social and recreational activities
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary and Special Advisor
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree, preferrable in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a senior ormanagerial role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws and HR compliance frameworks
- Strong verbal and written communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exhibits high integrity, handle confidential information discreetly, and is results-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Well organized, resourceful and foster a positive workplace culture
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
