Position Title: Sr. Manager, Global Mobility

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 10+ Years

Job Summary/ Job Opportunity:

This role is part of the People function and is responsible for the design, execution and continuous improvement of the organization's Global Mobility and Immigration programs. The role will manage end-to-end immigration and mobility processes, including business visas, work permits, international assignments, employee relocations, and permanent transfers across multiple geographies. The incumbent will partner closely with team members, business leaders, HR teams, immigration vendors, and legal partners to ensure seamless employee experience while maintaining compliance with global immigration regulations and company policies.

Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end immigration and global mobility processes, including business visas, work permits, dependent visas, visa renewals, amendments, permanent residency applications, international assignments, and employee relocations.
  • Oversee immigration programs across key geographies including the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, Poland, Philippines and other global locations, ensuring compliance with evolving immigration and employment regulations.
  • Assess team member eligibility for immigration programs and provide guidance on appropriate mobility pathways and work authorization requirements.
  • Provide visa and mobility consultation to team members and the leadership team, addressing inquiries and resolving complex issues
  • Coordinate with external immigration counsel, mobility vendors, relocation providers, and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate processing of cases.
  • Own case management, documentation, compliance tracking, reporting, and audit readiness for all mobility and immigration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations during the filing, renewal, and amendment processes.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms and dashboards to track mobility activity, processing timelines, costs, compliance metrics, and employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within the mobility and immigration framework.
  • Support the development, implementation, and communication of global mobility policies and practices.
  • Support the implementation, adoption, and ongoing management of the organization's Global Mobility platform, including continuous optimization, to enhance team member experience, operational efficiency, compliance tracking, and mobility program governance.

  • In-depth knowledge of global mobility principles, policies, tax, and immigration.

Qualification and Experience

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
  • 12–15 years of professional experience, including 10+ years of relevant experience in Global Mobility and Visa management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing business visa programs, work permits, international assignments, and employee relocation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration regulations and mobility practices across the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe (including Poland), Philippines and Australia.
  • Experience working with attorneys, immigration law firms, relocation vendors, and external service providers.
  • Exposure to global business environments and cross-border workforce management.
  • Experience in mobility reporting, analytics, compliance management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and mobility tracking systems preferred.
