About The Opportunity
The Senior Manager of Global Markets will lead the end-to-end management of the company's crypto license applications across multiple jurisdictions, including VARA (Dubai), MiCA (EU), and other reputable regulatory regimes. This role combines regulatory engagement, project management, and risk oversight to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent license submissions globally.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory Program Leadership: Oversee all global crypto licensing projects from initiation to approval, including coordination with regulators, legal advisors, and compliance consultants.
- Cross-Functional Project Management: Drive internal stakeholders (legal, finance, tech, security, product, and operations) to deliver required documentation such as business plans, financial models, risk frameworks, and infrastructure descriptions on time and in compliance with each jurisdiction's requirements.
- Documentation Oversight: Review and perform sanity checks on application materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and risk alignment across submissions.
- Governance & Tracking: Maintain a central registry of ongoing license applications, regulatory timelines, and associated dependencies; ensure leadership visibility on progress and risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, or compliance within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Proven track record of managing multi-jurisdictional licensing or regulatory approval processes.
- Strong understanding of crypto exchange business models, risk frameworks, and regulatory expectations (e.g., VARA, MiCA, FCA, MAS, etc.).
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder coordination skills.Based in Singapore or Malaysia, with availability to liaise across time zones.
