Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee global manufacturing resource availability and lead the evolution of the organisation's capacity planning infrastructure. This role is responsible for aligning category-level supply plans with a long-term vision to optimize costs, cash flow, and customer service levels. You will bridge the gap between Manufacturing, Sales Operations, and Order Fulfillment to manage capacity in an increasingly complex business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a live, digitized map of global production assets, including equipment capabilities and facility floor space, to drive manufacturing efficiency.
- Proactively identify and resolve critical network limitations across hardware, labor, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
- Lead the adoption and optimization of enterprise-level digital planning platforms and what-if modeling tools to enhance forecasting agility.
- Generate comprehensive views of critical constraints (lines, testers, warehousing) and identify network bottlenecks.
- Direct the reconciliation of supply and demand variances, ensuring that production schedules align with multi-year business targets.
- Evaluate the resource requirements for New Product Introductions (NPI) while managing the phase-out strategy for legacy technologies.
- Drive the adoption of advanced digital planning platforms, such as SAP IBP/Hana and Industry 4.0 solutions, to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Represent the supply chain in quarterly business reviews, providing updates on cost scorecards and project status to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or an analytical field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- More than 8 years of experience in capacity management or global supply chain planning.
- Proven experience within the semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and expert-level Excel skills for complex data modeling.
- Strong ability to influence without direct authority and translate complex data into clear concepts for various functional levels.
