The Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM), a non-profit organisation founded in 1997, with the objective of raising the standards of civil behaviour and responsibility. SKM is a catalyst and collaborates with partners to activate and implement kindness initiatives that aim to improve kindness and graciousness in Singapore.
Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Singapore, with opportunities for remote work. The Senior Manager (Partnerships - 3Ps) strengthens and manages strategic relationships across the People, Private, and Public sectors to advance the Singapore Kindness Movement's mission of cultivating kindness as a core social value.
Working closely with the Deputy Director (Partnerships), this role supports the development and implementation of partnership strategies, drives collaborative programmes, and contributes toexpanding SKM's outreach and impact through meaningful community and organisational partnerships.
The Senior Manager also supports the Kindness at Work portfolio, engaging corporate stakeholders to promote kindness and well-being within workplace environments.
This position reports to the Deputy Director (Partnerships) and the Executive Director of SKM.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Development
- Support the Deputy Director (Partnerships) in implementing strategies to build and sustain partnerships across the 3P network.
- Manage and nurture relationships with corporate organisations, public agencies, and community partners to co-develop initiatives that advance SKM's objectives.
- Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities, support the Deputy Director in preparing proposals, and manage follow-up actions to sustain and grow SKM's initiatives.
- Conceptualise and implement joint campaigns with partners to amplify SKM's messages and create shared value across different sectors.
Programme & Campaign Management
- Coordinate and oversee partner-related events such as the Transport Gold Awards - a highly detailed and complex campaign involving multiple partners, operational workflows, and content touchpoints. This requires meticulous planning, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Support the Kindness Day SG (KDSG) programmes in collaboration with public and private partners, ensuring smooth execution and strong partner engagement.
- Support the Kindness at Work portfolio by engaging companies and organisational leaders to foster workplace kindness, conduct talks or workshops, and encourage participation in related initiatives.
- Support organisation-wide events and initiatives that contribute to SKM's national message of kindness and neighbourliness.
Evaluation, Governance & InternalAlignment
- Monitor programme effectiveness and contribute to impact measurement, data collection, and evaluation reports to inform programme improvements.
- Work with internal teams to ensure alignment between partnership initiatives and SKM's communications, outreach, and evaluation efforts.
- Ensure adherence to good governance and compliance standards, including procurement processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in partnership management and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to collaborate effectively across corporate, government, and community sectors.
- Strong strategic planning and programme management skills, with a proven track record in developing and delivering impactful partnership initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful collaborations and convey the organisational mission effectively.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset to achieve shared objectives with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of Singapore's public, private, and community sectors, and experience working within cross-sector environments.
- Proficient in using data analysis and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of partnership programmes.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Passion for advancing kindness and societal graciousness across communities in line with SKM's mission.
