Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the governance, transformation, and quality assurance of financial systems supporting global operations. This role sits within the Finance team and focuses on ensuring the reliability, integrity, and compliance of mission-critical financial platforms, including payment systems, cash management infrastructure, and corporate banking solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling scalable financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with finance, treasury, and technology stakeholders to deliver complex cross-border initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Systems Governance & Transformation
- Lead end-to-end governance of financial systems, including payment platforms, corporate banking systems, and cash management solutions.
- Drive finance system transformation initiatives, including platform upgrades, migrations, and integration with global financial networks.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance frameworks, testing strategies, and control mechanisms for finance-critical systems.
Payment Systems & Cross-Border Operations
- Oversee implementation and validation of cross-border payment capabilities (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, PayNow, GIRO, and other clearing systems).
- Support finance and treasury teams in ensuring seamless execution of high-value and high-volume transactions.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance across multiple markets.
UAT Governance & Risk Control
- Design and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for financial systems, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Define quality gates, risk controls, and validation standards to safeguard financial data integrity and transaction accuracy.
- Identify and mitigate operational and system risks impacting financial processes.
Stakeholder Management & Delivery
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, IT, and external vendors to deliver large-scale system implementations.
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-border teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide expert advisory on financial system design, testing methodologies, and operational readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal audit standards across all financial platforms.
- Support internal and external audits related to financial systems and transaction processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CFA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial systems, banking technology, or finance transformation roles
- Proven track record in global payment systems, cash management platforms, or corporate banking solutions
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-border system implementations or transformation programmes
- Strong exposure to UAT governance, system testing, and quality assurance in financial environments
