About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be leading a team of executives for the Company's accounting and finance activities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure smooth operations in the Finance department with focus in meeting deadlines for financial accounting and consolidation, timely and accurate reporting, and financial performance appraisal. S/he will have to report on Financial Metrics and variance analysis and work closely with stakeholders in recommending measures to manage financial performance of the business.
2. Works closely with business teams / stakeholders to provide financial expertise, challenge the consistency of business assumptions and identify the value drivers and key risks. This includes, but not limited to, addressing the process challenges, reviewing control procedures, and recommending areas of improvements.
3. Handles accounts operations, cashflow management, budget and forecasts, financial and tax compliance, risk management. Liaises with external parties and government authorities for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. This includes identifying accounting and tax issues affecting the businesses with internal colleagues, auditors, tax consultants and shareholders.
