Reporting to Head of Digital Transformation & Data (DT&D), the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with business stakeholders to identify, shape, and refine digital use cases.
- Translating high‑level business ideas into clearly defined problem statements and outcome‑based initiatives.
- Supporting prioritisation of initiatives based on value, complexity, readiness, and strategic alignment.
- Maintaining regular engagement with business and IT heads to surface opportunities and align on priorities.
- Leading early‑stage solution design discussions to determine the most appropriate implementation approach.
- Ensuring proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, application landscape, and data strategy.
- Providing architectural guidance during pre‑project and delivery stages without acting as hands‑on implementer.
- Acting as the central point of architectural and solution assurance across digital initiatives.
- Supporting preparation of approval papers and Statements of Work.
- Leading vendor evaluations and provide inputs into vendor selection decisions.
- Ensuring scope of work, commercials, and contractual terms are consistent and aligned to approved designs.
- Acting as a single point of contact for vendors during pre‑project and early delivery stages.
- Enabling Project Managers to focus on delivery by owning pre‑project clarity and solution readiness.
- Providing ongoing guidance to PMs during delivery on scope interpretation, solution consistency, and design intent.
- Participating in design discussions to provide solution and architectural insights.
- Identifying and escalate risks related to scope creep, architectural misalignment, or delivery feasibility.
- Managing communication consistency across all digital initiatives.
- Supporting the project managers in cross functional discussions and problem solving.
- Promoting structured, transparent, and repeatable digital delivery practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital transformation and enterprise technology, with a track record of leading in-house transformation initiatives within the organisation covering solution design, enterprise architecture and delivery.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture) and project delivery certifications like PMP or PRINCE2.
- Strong experience operating at the interface of business, IT, and vendors.
- Proven experience shaping initiatives during pre‑project phases (use cases, solution options, business cases).
- Experience supporting RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract scope definition.
- Experience working with enterprise systems (ERP, core platforms, data platforms, integration layers).
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and solution design principles.
- Ability to translate business problems into structured, implementable solutions.
- Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently, with sound judgement and pragmatic decision‑making.
