Position Overview
The incumbent will lead digital transformation and data science initiatives across POET, applying technology, data, and process redesign to improve efficiency, decision-making, and operational performance. This role is not limited to any single function -the incumbent will take on projects across the organization, spanning supply chain, operations, finance, and other business areas as prioritized by leadership. The role bridges business teams, IT, and external technology partners, driving adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and digital tools to deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation initiatives across various functions within POET, as prioritized by business needs.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of relevant technology platforms(e.g., planning systems, analytics tools, automation platforms) depending onthe project scope.
- Partner with IT, data engineering, and analytics teams to build clean, integrated data pipelines that support business reporting and decision-making, including dashboards drawing on data from suppliers and internal systems.
- Design future-state processes and KPI dashboards/reporting that leverage AI/ML-driven analytics, scenario modeling, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum12 years of experience in data analytics and digital transformation, including at least 5 years leading digital/technology transformation projects, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on experience with relevant data/analytics or planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis,o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, Anaplan, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills - comfortable with data modeling, KPIs, and translating data into business recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven change management and user-adoption leadership, with experience driving organizational buy-in, training, and adoption of new systems and processes.
