Senior Manager, Data Solution Architect (Consulting)

As a Senior Manager, Data Solution Architect (Consulting), you will be a customer-facing technical leader responsible for translating complex public sector requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant data architectures. You will play a critical role in shaping enterprise data platforms within the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), providing deep technical stewardship while confidently engaging senior government stakeholders.

What will you do

Architecture & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end data solutions, with a strong focus on data platforms, reporting, and transaction processing within the GCC environment.
• Define scalable, secure, and resilient data architectures aligned with public sector needs.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex, high-impact projects.
• Ensure all architectural designs and implementations comply with IM8 and AIAS security policies.
• Act as the technical authority for data architecture decisions, drawing on a strong DBA foundation.

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Present architectural roadmaps and solution strategies, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Advocate for client needs while balancing technical feasibility, security, and delivery constraints.
  
  

The ideal candidate should possess:

• At least 10 years of IT experience, with a strong career foundation in Database Administration.
• Expert-level knowledge of commercial data technologies such as Oracle, Cloudera, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions in complex environments.
• Prior experience in FSI or payment domains, with strong relevance to public sector financial projects.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build and sustain positive client relationships under pressure.
