RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide actuarial services including analysis and pricing of portfolios with support from MSIG Asia
• Maintain best practice actuarial methodology to the business process
• Develop and Manage the actuarial function with competent members
• Build Data Science capability
• Improve Data Collection and Quality
• Develop Business Insights capability
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
• Support underwriters (Segment Profit Centre), Claims and Distribution Department

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably with Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics degree or Fellow of a recognised Actuarial Society

OTHER INFORMATION

• Preferably with minimum of five years experience in a consultancy firm and/or general insurance company
• Minimum of two years experience in Technical pricing
• Good understanding of data, actuarial software, Microsoft Excel and programming languages
• Good general insurance business knowledge including pricing methodology
• Team Player and Manager
