What The Role Is
The job purpose is to assist the Assistant Director, Data Analytics in the development and execution of CNB's centralised data analytics capabilities to enable better-informed decision-making and strategic planning throughout CNB.
What You Will Be Working On
The job will focus on three main areas:
- Statistics – Ensure high quality statistical information that supports evidence-based policy-making and operational decision-making. This entails maintaining professional standards, methodological rigour, and statistical integrity across all organisational data collection and analysis activities.
- Data Governance – Establish and maintain comprehensive internal frameworks, aligned to WOG Data Governance policies. This is done while ensuring that data is managed as a strategic organisational asset, ensuring data quality, security, privacy, and compliance whilst enabling effective data utilisation across the organisation. This balances the need for data protection and regulatory compliance with requirements for data accessibility and effective analysis.
- Data Analytics – Transform organisational data into actionable insights, and evidence-based recommendations that support strategic decision-making and operational optimisation. This function bridges the gap between data collection and decision-making by applying analytical methods to extract value from various datasets, and by presenting the results through clear, interactive visualisations (e.g., dashboards, charts). These visual tools include the use of the MHA Enterprise Visualisation Platform (EVP), enabling insight‑driven discussions, and ultimately turning raw data into informed, timely actions.
