About the Role

The individual will:
Develop and implement advanced analytics and AI solutions across the GIA Group.
Responsible for driving strategic AI initiatives within GIA while delivering customised solutions tailored to the needs of individual Local Business Units (LBUs).
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, production-ready machine learning and Generative AI (GenAI) models across the GIA Group that enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead AI and Data Science Projects: Drive end-to-end delivery of AI and machine learning initiatives across the GIA Group, ensuring alignment with GIA objectives
  • Collaborate with LBU t or specialist audit teams to develop and implement tailored AI solutions for individual LBUs, addressing unique business challenges
  • Identify opportunities to help and work across the business units (within GIA and with the other departments) to optimise the audit operational processes through AI
  • Establish and maintain minimum standard for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on AI solutions
  • Develop the GIA DA Specialists capabilities and support them in building data analytics expertise within local business units and specialised audit teams
  • Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends, providing strategic recommendations to enhance the GIA's analytics capabilities
  • Ensure all AI solutions adhere to regulatory, ethical, and data governance standards
  • Prepare GIA AI projects update to management and Audit Committee

Minimum Job Requirements:

Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Eight years of experience in building data science/GenAI solutions related role preferably in audit, risk, compliance department, or control functions
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale AI projects and delivering production-ready solutions
  • Strong experience with GenAI workflows, MLOps/LLMOps, and CI/CD will be an advantage

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL skills, and familiarity with AI frameworks and tools
  • Expertise in MLOps tools and practices
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and Generative AI frameworks
  • Strong understanding of cloud platform (Azure) and Databricks will be an advantage
