Overall Job Purpose:
Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
- Responsible for design management, project management and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
- Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.
- Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
- Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
- Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meet specified quality standards.
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
- Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.
- Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
- Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Required to have Design and/or Design Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
- Project management experience in large scale engineering infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
- Posses strong written and communication skill in English and able to engage stakeholders from diverse background.
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
