Core Responsibilities
This role is accountable for supporting the best in class shopping experience for LEGO products in Brick and Mortar channels (Grocery and Toy Specialists) and work in close tandem with regional Brick and Mortar channel lead.
- This role sits in our Regional Commercial Development (RCD) and is responsible for the Brick and Mortar retail execution pillar of the LEGO Group's commercial strategy
- Identify opportunities that better serve shopper needs
- Co-develop the Customer Value Proposition and Go To Market guidelines for our key audiences; and build the compelling commercial storyline for retailers that secures buy-in to our retail asks
- Planograms development recommendations for key Grocery and Toy Specialists customers and improving shelf productivity
- Partner with Markets to ensure a strong link from the Regional Integrated Commercial Plans (ICP) into Customer ICPs / Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
- Partner with our Trade Marketing teams to secure retail presence and experience.
- Responsible for in-depth category and shopper understanding and insights at a micro and macro level
- Analyze category/segment performance using customer, consumer, shopper and macro environment data and sources

Regional Commercial Development team in APAC acts as a commercial partner to our markets in making smart commercial decisions to reach more kids in a sustainable way.
These decisions include, among others, channel strategy, assortment strategy and listings, customer segmentation and sales excellence; and are articulated in local commercial plans led by the team.
As a regional team, we translate the global commercial agenda into regional priorities, in addition to identifying specific APAC initiatives.
Do you have what it takes
- 8+ years of relevant Channel Excellence/ Category Management/ Business or Product Development experience in consumer-packaged goods industry (FMCG)
- Proven track record working in a global business with strong multi-cultural teams, fostering strong relationships, team spirit and culture
- Advanced analytical skills, data-driven way of working, solution driven and result oriented
- Extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and polish retail environment, working with dashboards to provide in-depth data and insight reports
- Experience with planograms development (JDA Space Planning)
- Multi-country or global work experience preferred
- Some international travel required, predominantly in the APAC region
