Job Summary:
The Senior Manager will support the Assistant Vice President (AVP) in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic insights for the business. This role will lead a team to deliver performance analytics, and actionable recommendations to enable data-driven decision-making and optimize business outcomes for the resort's key non-gaming units including Attractions, Hotels, MICE and Food and Beverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Provide insights on revenue, cost drivers, and profitability trends.
Business Performance Management:
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.
- Partner with business units to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Strategic Support:
- Assist AVP in preparing executive reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support strategic projects, including scenario modeling and investment analysis.
Data & Analytics:
- Oversee development of financial models and predictive analytics.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting systems.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor analysts to build strong financial and analytical capabilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- At least 8+ years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or analytics, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
