About the Client

Our client is a global business within medical devices sector and one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. They are looking to further grow and scale across the region and is now looking to invite a Senior Manager, Brand & Communications to join their team.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Brand & Communications leads the development and delivery of global marketing and communication activities aimed at strengthening brand visibility, ensuring consistent and high-quality messaging, and supporting sustainable business growth. The role oversees all communication disciplines, including brand positioning, advertising, trademark oversight, product-related communication, thought leadership, and public relations.

While regional and digital communication leads manage execution within their respective areas, this position provides overarching direction, ensures alignment with regulatory and market requirements, and drives consistency and efficiency across all communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. People Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of brand and communication professionals, providing strategic guidance, performance feedback, and development support.
  • Promote a collaborative, high-performance, and customer-oriented team culture.

2. Marketing & Communication Programs

  • Plan and execute marketing and communication initiatives aligned with overarching business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external partners and agencies, as required, to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns and tactical activities.
  • Use market insights, research, and performance data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and refine initiatives.

3. Brand Strategy & Governance

  • Create and deliver campaigns that enhance brand equity, visibility, and relevance in key markets.
  • Ensure consistent brand expression across all channels by defining, maintaining, and enforcing brand standards and guidelines.

4. Market Visibility & Reputation Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of external and internal events such as trade shows, exhibitions, and customer or sales meetings.
  • Oversee public relations activities to support a strong and credible market reputation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant media contacts and industry stakeholders.

5. Digital Communication & Innovation

  • Set the strategic direction for digital communication and engagement activities.
  • Align and manage digital platforms and content, ensuring ongoing optimization, innovation, and effective audience engagement throughout the customer journey.

6. Marketing Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Develop and deploy marketing assets that support brand positioning and commercial goals.
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, reuse, and retirement of marketing materials, including print, digital, and multimedia content.

7. Stakeholder Engagement & Feedback

  • Serve as the central coordination point for communication-related topics involving internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timeliness across regions.
  • Collect and consolidate feedback from customers and stakeholders through structured research and feedback mechanisms.

8. Trademark & Intellectual Property Oversight

  • Coordinate the management of the trademark portfolio in collaboration with legal advisors and external service providers, ensuring appropriate protection and compliant usage.

9. Process Governance & Compliance

  • Define and oversee processes, standards, and guidelines related to branding and communication.
  • Ensure relevant procedures are current, practical, and aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing or communications, with a strong focus on brand management and campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex marketing initiatives; experience in B2B environments is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in leading teams or managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of creativity and visual sensitivity combined with analytical thinking and a structured approach.
  • Experience working in international and cross-regional settings.
  • Proficiency in common productivity tools, creative software, and digital marketing platforms.
