We're partnering with a leading global asset manager to appoint a Senior Manager, APAC Distribution Compliance & Risk Management.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected investment management firm in a first-line compliance and risk role, embedded directly within the APAC Distribution business. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor to Sales and Distribution teams, helping to shape and enhance compliance and risk frameworks across a complex, multi-jurisdictional APAC environment.
Key responsibilities include:
✔ Partnering with Sales, Marketing and Client Services teams to provide proactive compliance and risk advisory
✔ Maintaining and enhancing distribution compliance frameworks, policies and control processes
✔ Monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into practical business solutions
✔ Driving risk management initiatives, including incident management and risk assessments
✔ Working closely with regional and global stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk and Audit functions
✔ Supporting new business initiatives, product development and cross-border distribution activities
We are keen to speak with professionals who have:
▪ 8+ years of compliance experience within asset management
▪ Strong understanding of APAC regulatory frameworks and cross-border distribution activities
▪ Experience advising institutional and/or intermediary distribution businesses
▪ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
▪ A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-oriented approach
This role would suit an individual who enjoys operating independently, partnering closely with the business, and helping shape compliance strategy in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape.
