Purpose and Scope

We are seeking a commercially astute and strategic candidate to lead the development, structuring and execution of short- and long-term thermal, renewable and low-carbon energy solutions for a diverse portfolio of customers, including those in data centres, semiconductor and manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and government sectors.

This role is expected to drive commercial growth, shape go-to-market strategies, lead complex deal origination and negotiations, and build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership presence, sound commercial judgement, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Singapore's electricity market and broader energy transition landscape.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies to achieve short- and long-term revenue, margin and growth targets across power and low-carbon solution offerings
  • Identify, originate and pursue new business opportunities through market intelligence, customer engagement and strategic assessment of global and local energy trends
  • Structure and negotiate complex commercial deals, including pricing, risk allocation, contract terms and solution design tailored to customer requirements
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across customers, governmental authorities, project partners and internal cross-functional teams to support deal delivery and long-term account growth
  • Provide commercial leadership across the contract lifecycle, ensuring robust governance, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective management of commercial performance and risks
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape product offerings, business cases and strategic initiatives that enhance competitiveness and support the company's broader energy transition objectives
  • Guide and develop junior team members, providing direction, coaching and oversight to strengthen team capability and execution quality

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in commercial sales, deal structuring and contract management, preferably in the power, utilities, energy solutions or sustainability sectors
  • Strong experience in Singapore's electricity market is highly preferred
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated ability to manage complex customer engagements and lead commercially significant transactions
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring junior team members and working across cross-functional teams will be advantageous

  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and ability to translate market insights into actionable growth plans
  • Advanced negotiation, stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly in complex or ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with proficiency in evaluating commercial, regulatory and operational considerations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior management and external stakeholders
  • Driven, resourceful and self-directed, with strong leadership presence and a collaborative approach to delivering results
