Brief Summary
We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead a team in managing building maintenance and facilities operations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an efficient and effective maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in daily building maintenance and facilities management. Manage contractors to ensure effective execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) for essential mechanical and electrical services. Plan and coordinate ad-hoc repair and replacement work for mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Assist in managing soft services such as housekeeping, landscaping, and pest control. Monitor monthly electrical and water consumption. Perform direct control duties as a management representative during non-office hours. Address complaints and feedback from both internal and external users. Maintain inventory stocks and manage supply replenishment. Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Nitec in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Technician in Maintenance within Facilities Management, with knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), electrical, and air conditioning systems. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and manage stock inventory effectively. Proactive, independent, and capable of working under pressure. Strong team player with a positive attitude and customer-centric approach.
