Job description
The Oishi Manufacturing Pte Ltd is looking for a hands-on Senior Maintenance Technician who will be working with the team on the general upkeep and maintenance of the Oishi Manufacturing. This is a full-time position, 44 hours, shifts of 5 days per week, to include weekends and evenings. The Senior Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Facilities Manager or Director.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the Manufacturing facility and Facilities equipment.(Production - Cake ovens, waffles hot plates, homogenizer, mixer, premixed equipment, ice cream manufacturing equipment, industrial chillers & air condition / Facilities - Air compressor, liquid chiller, Main switch boards & DB's, lighting, air condition, All Building features etc. )
- Smooth and customer friendly day to day collaboration with both internal stakeholders and outsourced vendors to facility department.
- Perform daily start up, shutdown and inspection of building services and manufacturing equipment according to the standards and requirements.
- Schedules and completes a preventive maintenance program of production equipment and facilities equipment.
- Performs maintenance work related to electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
- Repairs and treats structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Takes daily/ weekly utilities readings.
- Initiates and implement cost saving repair techniques and program to facilitate cost saving for Oishi Contract renewal & new contract quotes, repair cost quotes and to co-ordinate for work completion. (Contract Management)
- To maintain department working tools, materials (inventory) and machines for serviceability and accountability
- Authority compliances license renewal follow up. LEW, air compressor re-new Etc.
- Ensures that Oishi premises meets health and safety standards and legal requirements.
- Works together with the operations HOD, R&D and other to discuss any aspect of operations which will involve the maintenance department
- Carries out assessment of requirements for completion of reports, or work orders to the management as stated by standard procedures
- Engages in flexible work schedules to be able to perform well during emergencies
- Assists in emergencies, firefighting, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Ensures clear documentation of SOPs across the Maintenance department
