Senior/Machine Control Software Engineer (semicon/mfg)

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and implement robust machine control software for complex manufacturing equipment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with hardware components

• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in production environments

• Continuously optimize and enhance existing software systems to improve performance and reliability

• Document code, processes, and procedures to ensure maintainability and traceability

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in machine control software engineering

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine control software development, preferably in the semiconductor or manufacturing sectors

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and PLC programming

• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems, control theory, and industrial automation protocols

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex software issues

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and documentation
