Lead the Project's M&E Engineer and drafter in the implementation and execution of works according to the project schedule.
Support to project management with respect to contractual budget, resources, design, procurement, construction quality and safety.
Liaise closely with clients, architects, consultant and subcontractors though regular meetings to resolve administrative, design and contractual issues and updating of project progress report to project manager.
Liaise with internal staff, client and subcontractors and plan work schedule and organize work activities to meet client's stipulated deadline promptly.
Project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
Ensuring that M&E work comply with all building codes and any legal or regulatory requirements.
Ensuring all preventive maintenance programs for all M&E equipment/specialist system is in compliance with relevant legislations and safe work procedure.
In-charge of M&E & SWC meetings to ensure timely construction progress and schedule
Prepare method statement, site installation, site inspection, commissioning testing and quality checks.
Responsible for managing a team of M&E engineers and BIM modelers in the design and coordination work.
Complete full project responsibility in all areas of project execution.
Monitor the work progress, flow, safety and procedures in the plumbing/drainage/sanitary system, Tunnel Mechanical Ventilation/Chillers system, fire protection system, 22kv main Power supply /Lighting system and Security system and relating to other trade.
Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of Drawing/Equipment/Materials submission to LTA approval statues.
Attend site progress, coordination, technical meeting with LTA, Architects and M&E consultant.
Prepare matrix and assistant for QS/contract manager to award subcontractor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering from a recognized University
Experience in handling MRT projects would be an added advantage
Minimum 10 years experience in Mechanical & Electrical services for construction of large civil projects
Understand contract requirement and M&E specification
Able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Proficient in Autodesk software, including Navisworks
