Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services on construction sites, driving project execution through effective collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead coordination of Mechanical and Electrical services with consultants and subcontractors on site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and resolve all M&E issues on site to maintain project progress and quality standards.
- Support the Manager in coordinating project management activities to align resources and schedules.
- Represent the project team in external project meetings, consultant discussions, technical coordination sessions, daily project meetings, and internal project closure meetings to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Drafting Department to complete and submit all required shop drawings accurately and on schedule.
- Enforce adherence to Safe Work Procedures (SWP) to maintain a safe working environment on site.
- Prepare and deliver timely project progress reports and other documentation to track milestones and inform stakeholders.
- Implement quality management processes by maintaining quality records, analyzing results, and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
- Manage procurement by ordering materials required for project execution to avoid delays.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager that are essential for successful project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering or relevant qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years supervising E&M work on construction sites for projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective issue resolution on site.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
