Job Responsibilities
Leadership & Overall Warehouse Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team covering daily store and shipping operations.
- Oversee total warehouse management, ensuring all stocks are kept in proper location and order, properly labelled, and fully traceable in the HUB.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, space optimization, and safety procedures.
- Ensure all receipts and shipments are accurately entered into the Business system.
Advanced Shipping & Freight Operations:
- Leverage deep shipping expertise to strategize and manage freight forwarding operations globally.
- Arrange and liaise closely with Freight Forwarders on complex shipping bookings and follow-up on complete sets of shipping documents.
- Oversee the physical handling and shipment of all machine models, including complex crating and fork-lift arrangement and coordination.
- Ensures 100% regulatory compliance for global shipments by managing accurate customs declarations, clearance protocols, and all international shipping documentation.
- Review and approve critical shipping documents, including shipping invoices, credit notes, packing lists, delivery orders, and certificates of origin.
- Oversee the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of spare parts to support customers as per marketing department requests.
Store & Inventory Control:
- Manage the inbound receipt of goods from suppliers, ensuring rigorous checks of PO numbers, DO numbers, and physical counts to prevent discrepancies.
- Oversee the generation of GRNs and coordinate the smooth transfer of items to QC for inspection and kitting of parts.
- Lead annual stock-take and audit processes.
Job Requirement:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of extensive experience in warehouse management, with demonstrated, deep expertise in the shipping industry and freight forwarding operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of successfully managing and developing logistics teams.
