Role : Senior Legal Counsel
Location : Singapore
Must-haves:
- 10+ years PQE (or equivalent)
- Strong hands-on experience in freight / shipping documentation/ banking & contracts (COAs, charterparties, bills of lading, demurrage/despatch, claims)
- Solid arbitration & disputes exposure (preferably SIAC/LMAA/GAFTA/FOSFA or similar)
- Prior legal experience within metals / commodities trading (in-house or trading-focused firm)
- Commercial, deal-oriented personality; able to move fast and hold the line with counterparties
Should-have:
- Knowledge of trade finance / sanctions / compliance in commodities
- Regional experience across Asia / Middle East routes
