We are partnering with a leading organization on a confidential mandate to appoint a Legal Counsel who will play a pivotal role in supporting large-scale infrastructure and energy development initiatives. This position offers exposure to complex, high-value projects and strategic transactions in a dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on project development and construction-related matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements for engineering, procurement, and operations.
- Manage legal aspects of procurement and tender processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
- Provide pragmatic legal guidance on a broad range of issues, including commercial, employment, and dispute resolution matters.
- Support governance and risk management activities within the legal function.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years PQE, admitted to the Singapore Bar.
- Proven experience in EPC contracting and project development, gained in a reputable law firm or in-house environment.
- Exposure to M&A or financing transactions will be a strong plus.
- Commercially astute, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
