Job Description

We are partnering with a leading organization on a confidential mandate to appoint a Legal Counsel who will play a pivotal role in supporting large-scale infrastructure and energy development initiatives. This position offers exposure to complex, high-value projects and strategic transactions in a dynamic sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on project development and construction-related matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements for engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Manage legal aspects of procurement and tender processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
  • Provide pragmatic legal guidance on a broad range of issues, including commercial, employment, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Support governance and risk management activities within the legal function.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years PQE, admitted to the Singapore Bar.
  • Proven experience in EPC contracting and project development, gained in a reputable law firm or in-house environment.
  • Exposure to M&A or financing transactions will be a strong plus.
  • Commercially astute, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
