Our client, a leading multinational operating across industrial, marine, and energy-related sectors, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their group legal function. This is a senior strategic role supporting regional and global operations, offering broad exposure to commercial, regulatory, and dispute-related work.
Key Responsibilities of this Senior Legal Counsel, Engineering Procurement Construction
(EPC):
- Provide strategic legal support to senior leadership across a wide range of commercial and operational matters.
- Lead the review, negotiation, and management of complex procurement and commercial agreements.
- Support corporate initiatives including joint ventures, restructuring, and other strategic projects.
- Oversee dispute management, including civil claims, commercial disputes, and regulatory matters in partnership with external counsel.
- Enhance internal legal processes, contract templates, and governance frameworks.
- Advise on compliance, regulatory issues, and licensing obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Requirements of this Senior Legal Counsel, Engineering Procurement Construction
(EPC):
- 1520+ PQE, with experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or established in-house environment.
- Strong commercial contracts experience, including negotiation and operational support.
- Solid exposure to dispute management and working with external counsel.
- Background in construction/EPC, international trade, or sectorspecific regulatory matters is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
