We are looking for an experienced legal professional to lead the legal and compliance function for a fast-growing, multi-jurisdictional fintech platform. In this role, you will play a central role in enabling the firm's expansion, ensuring that the company's products, transactions, and operations meet the highest regulatory and governance standards across Singapore and relevant markets.
As the primary legal advisor, you will work closely with senior leadership, product, investment, and operations teams to anticipate risks, steer regulatory strategy, and guide complex transactions from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will includ
- e:Owning the full legal and regulatory agenda for the firm, ensuring the business operates in accordance with relevant frameworks across multiple jurisdiction
- s.Overseeing transactional work, including investment documentation, product structuring, and deal execution, engaging external counsel when appropriat
- e.Supporting the creation and management of regulated products and vehicles, such as multi-asset structures, special purpose vehicles, and credit or investment instrument
- s.Strengthening internal governance, managing corporate matters, employment-related issues, and commercial agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, and service provider
- s.Driving licensing and reporting obligations under MAS and ASIC, serving as the main point of contact for regulatory engagemen
- t.Managing the firm's compliance programme, including maintaining registers, policies and procedures, AML/KYC onboarding protocols, ongoing reporting (FATCA/CRS, MAS notices, ESVCLP where relevant), and monitoring obligation
- s.Partnering with Investor Relations and Finance to ensure smooth investor onboarding, with a focus on AML/KYC efficiency and regulatory accurac

Key skills and experience required to be successf
- ul:A recognised legal qualification (LLB/LLM/JD) and eligibility to practise in Singapore or another leading common law jurisdiction such as Austral
- ia.At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, funds, banking, or financial services regulatory wo
